The 22nd edition of Swiss Expo – which will take place from 10 to 13 January 2018 at Expo Beaulieu Lausanne – will be marked by youth and innovation. It is destined to be recognised once again as the meeting place between agricultural professionals, the elite of cattle breeding and visitors from around the world. With nearly 130 exhibitors, some 400 breeders and over 1,000 cows and heifers inscribed, Swiss Expo remains, edition after edition, the platform that brings together the agricultural (breeding-agro-technical) sector and facilitates fruitful meetings, exchanges and contacts. Its last edition attracted more than 24,000 visitors.
A first day marked by innovation and youth
This year the organisers are proposing new dates. The exhibition now takes place from Wednesday to Saturday, in particular to respond to the requests of the agro-technical exhibitors and thus offer them a day without a cattle contest, a day when they can take advantage of the ring to come and present their latest innovations.
The first international showmanship in Switzerland
The young Swiss breeders are organising for the first time a showmanship contest in the framework of Swiss Expo in Lausanne on Wednesday 10 January at 14h00. This showmanship contest is open to young breeders aged between 10 and 28 from all countries. All participants who present a cow of any breed will be able to participate.
A professional agro-technical exhibition
Swiss Expo is also a place for meeting market leaders who in each edition come to present their latest innovations in the agro-technical field. Swiss Expo positions itself as the ideal platform for enhancing their reputation, displaying their products, meeting their clients and acquiring new ones.
